Pelagos means the sea. The seas and the oceans are the body of salt water, that cover approximately 71% of the earth's surface. Many of the major groups of organisms evolved in the sea and life may have started there. The sea provides substantial food supplies for humans, it is a way for trade, mineral extraction, energy production … The sea is an integral element for human lives

*Clusters of blooms is a rose-like formation of crystalline clusters of gypsum or barite that include abundant sand grains. These crystals are formed in dry sandy conditions in the process of evaporation. The "petals" created are crystals that fan out into glowing clusters. The inevitable process of evaporation and the formation of circular sets of flat plates is the reason for the creation of a new composition.

NeuverBand is a chamber group created with the aim of promoting the spread of music of the 20th and 21st centuries. It was founded in 2012 by graduates of the master's program in contemporary performance of the Music Academy in Basel. The ensemble strives to expand its repertoire by collaborating with young composers, by promoting rarely performed works or by performing works by composers who are less known outside the borders of their homelands, and by presenting masterpieces of internationally renowned composers to Swiss audiences. Since its foundation, neuverBand has commissioned and premiered around forty works and performed Swiss premieres by Uroš Rojko, Gérard Pesson, Philippe Leroux, Stefano Gervasoni, Salvatore Sciarrino, Wolfgang Rihm and Franck Bedrossian. In 2015, neuverBand launched "Construct-Radiate", a biennial competition for composers of all nationalities and under the age of 40. An internationally recognized jury selects the most promising composer with whom the ensemble collaborates in the following seasons. The neuverBand ensemble regularly collaborates with guests such as: Mik Svoboda, Céline Wasmer, Sveo Schildknecht, Anne-May Krüger and Marcus Weiss.
